Energy forecast for April 2025

April is a month for healing emotional wounds, say the guides. Here is the energy forecast for April 2025, plus four healing stones to work with in the weeks to come.

A few weeks ago I met a new dragon. She formed in my psychic vision, nearly transparent and shot through with rainbows. As she hovered in front of me, flapping her wings gently, I heard the word, "Crystal." I wondered, where in the heck have I heard of a dragon named Crystal? Then I thought of my friend Caroline Mitchell's deck, the Dragon Path Oracle. I riffled through my copy and there she was, the very image of the dragon in my vision.

Why is this relevant? Because Crystal is helping with this forecast. As it happens, her energy supports the energy of April. Crystal shows us how to keep our balance among the twists and turns of life. April is a month for healing the heart—and the best way to do that is to let go of our resistance. After all, what we resist, persists.

Hello, what can we expect from the energy of April?

Ripping. Tearing. A bridge too far. This is a month for overreach and the consequences that accompany it. Thinking you've won is a trap. It keeps you from focusing on service: service to your fellow man; service to your constituents; and the service you owe to yourself. The mindset of “I win, you lose” sets you up to think that you can do anything you wish. You can hurt anyone you want. But that's not the case. The only sure path forward is cooperation. April will underscore this truth.

Is there anything special we should look for?

Look for the disintegration that started in March to continue in April. This is a month to recognize the wounds of the heart. Transformation is upon you. The transformational process lays bare the wounds of the heart so that you can heal them. You must cut away the dead tissue. You must clean out the infection. Only then can healthy tissue grow. This is the energy that's sweeping in beginning in April.

When I looked at the energy of the month, I saw an initial small spike and a later, much larger spike. What was that about?

When you look at the energy of a situation, you see the energy of the human collective. The spikes you perceive symbolize anxiety, consternation, conversation, or reaction. Think of them as a crescendo in the energy of the people. We don't want to tell you too much, but we can say that you might watch for a dramatic increase in attention on specific subjects.

How will the energy affect us in our personal lives?

This is a month for healing emotional wounds. There's a focus on the heart in this month. The only thing that heals the heart is love of the self.

No matter what decisions you have made in the past, love lets you learn from them and move forward. This is the work of heart healing—to forgive yourself, acknowledge growth, and move on in love.

Your sister is fond of the Maya Angelou saying, “When you know better, do better.” That is the energy of April.

Why did Crystal the dragon want to help with this forecast?

As Caroline stated, Crystal asks, “Why do we do a job we hate or stay with a partner we can't communicate with, if it makes us unhappy?” April's energy invites us to confront the reality of what we have built and decide if we want to go forward with it.

The energy of Crystal the dragon is the energy of freedom, of creativity, of connection to the stars and to the truth of our selves. These are all encoded in the energy of April. It's a month for deciding to be true to who you are.

How can we manage the energy of April?

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?

The energy of this month is not particularly comfortable, but it is useful. Like a spade turning over soil, the energy of April prepares the bed for planting. The agitation that you feel, the anxiety in the collective, has a constructive purpose. And so, this is a month for learning how to flow with change.
