Here is the energy forecast for May 2026, plus three stones to help you find strength, balance, and optimism.

The guides said last month that better times were on the way. I was thinking about that the other day, wondering if it was true. Immediately, a post from Robert Reich showed up in my feed. “You can almost feel the change in the air we breathe,” he said. Reich went on to enumerate large and small reasons to feel better about the state of our nation. A recent decision on redistricting in Virginia and legislation in Hawaii to limit corporate influence on elections also helped lift my mood.

I needed that because, while my surgery last month was successful, I now must have six months of specialized treatment. I’ll be focusing on my health in that time, but I still plan to channel for the blog. These energy forecasts might be posted a little early or a little late, but if all goes well, they will be posted.

What can you tell me about the energy of May?

Compromise. Collaboration. Confusion. May’s energy supports conversation of all kinds. Some conversations will be about bringing a close to the violence you see in different parts of the world, although we hasten to say that it will take longer for things to come to a resolution.

Many conversations will be about changes to long-held beliefs, to unproductive structures, and even to staff in government and private enterprise. In May the cracks that have begun to appear will open a little wider. Hopefully, you will be able to see the light pouring through.

Is there anything special we should look for?

Look for continued wins on the part of the people. We promise that those in power are beginning to see the direction people insist on going and, to keep their jobs, they will begin to support that direction. So, look for leaders to start changing their tunes. It may happen faster overseas than in the United States.

How will the energy of May affect us in our private lives?

This is a month for taking stock. You may find yourself looking at things in your life that don’t work any longer, including people, structures, and possessions. You may begin to wish for something simpler. In this month it may become clearer to you what you want to take with you into the future, and what you are ready to leave behind.
